Head to Head - Travis Kelce and George Kittle

As the undisputed top 2 tight ends heading into the 2020 fantasy football season, Kelce and Kittle can go hand in hand. In TE rankings it’s almost always a toss up for who will be #1, and it will indeed be a toss up for the 2020 season. Personally, I like Travis Kelce for your upcoming fantasy drafts.

Kelce has dominated teams his whole career and especially the past 4 seasons, averaging 1,182 yards and 7 touchdowns for each of those seasons. He has been the #1 fantasy TE for 4, YES 4, consecutive years. With Mahomes under center, the stud TE has only been better. Even with Mahomes being out for almost 3 full games, Kelce finished a whopping 31.8 fantasy points ahead of Kittle. He is Mahomes favorite target, especially in the red zone and will continue to be with no new additions to the Chiefs receiving core. Yes, they added Edwards-Helaire, but this more to try and fix the Chief’s broken run game, which would only benefit Kelce.

The 49ers are an obvious run first offense, and the addition of first rounder Brandon Aiyuk will only take away targets from Kittle. Kittle will still obviously finish the 2020 season as a top 3 fantasy tight end but look to see Kelce atop the fantasy boards for the 5th consecutive year.
