Welcome to my series, “Sleeper Spotlight”, where I’m going to be taking a looking at some players that you should be looking to steal at an amazing price in your upcoming drafts! Today, I’m going to be looking at Houston receiver Brandin Cooks.
Brandin Cooks is being severely undervalued right now, as he is currently ranked the #39 receiver behind guys like John Brown, Christian Kirk, and teammate Will Fuller. In addition, he has a current ADP of 85, which lands him being drafted in the 8th round in 12 team leagues. With the exception of last season, Cooks has been a top 15 ppr receiver since 2015, and last year he still even averaged 8.4 points per game in what was an extremely down season for him and the Rams.
This past year, Cooks was competing for targets with Kupp, Woods, Everett, and Higbee. He now finds himself in a Houston offense where he will be the undisputed #1 target for Deshaun Watson after replacing DeAndre Hopkins. He has close to no competition for targets with Fuller, Stills, Cobb, and Fells begins him as the Texans receiving core.
Look for Brandin Cooks to bounce back in his new home and back to his old self. Look to snag him at a very good price in your upcoming drafts!
